Saree ke fall sa lyrics are catchier or the stunning saree adorned by our dear Sonakshi? Tough to answer, right?

From Dhak Dhak to Saree ke fall sa song in Hindi films, saree styles have come a long way and the obsession of our Bollywood film makers with the sensuous Saree blouse has grown multi-fold.

Saree designs from the Bollywood have been setting saree draping trends in our homes. The only reason I see is that saree is classy, serene, sensuous; the adjectives are illimitable and so is its connect with Bollywood.

There have been numerous saree models but my favourite saree wali girl has always cropped from Yashraj films. Let’s cruise through a few enticing Saree moments from the recent Bollywood heartthrobs:

  • Saree below Navel became a style statement with Priyanka Chopra’s Desi Girl act in Dostana. The nude colour, the perfect saree blouse pattern made the audience go crazy.
  • Deepika Padukone’s stunning blue saree in Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani turned thousands Dils’ badtamaeez while setting new benchmark in the world of saree fashion.
  • Innovation in Saree blouse designs has also been the forte of Bollywood designers; specially if the film is from the stable of Yashraj. Katrina Kaif’s red hot saree look form Jab Tak Hai Jaan is a great testimony of that.
  • Rohit Shetty also came out of his action zone and used brilliant saree styles to leverage the chemistry of Shahrukh and Kajol in  Dilwale.
  • Anushka Sharma’s saree photos from the film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil have already become a rage.

Interestingly, rain and sarees also have a great connection in our Hindi films.  From Mandakini in Ram Teri Ganga Maili to Raveena Tandon in Mohra, the film makers have done a brilliant job in making the traditional sarees more desirable.
